Ngā Manu Pūtohe is expanding our services to provide culturally grounded programmes that support young people to build confidence, strengthen identity and create pathways into education, employment and positive futures.
OUR PROGRAMMES
Our youth programmes are designed by our community, for our community. Funded by the department, each programme is built on Maori value concepts and a commitment to uplift our young people.

RECREATION, ENGAGEMENT & LEADERSHIP MOVEMENT Building confidence, resilience and leadership through recreation, adventure and cultural experiences.

One on one mentoring to support placement stability while working towards care plan goals such as improving safety and developing life skills

The REALM Program is a group-based youth development program for young people aged 12–19, designed to create positive opportunities through recreation, culture, adventure, creativity, and community connection.
The YCP – Youth Cultural Program provides one-on-one mentoring and outreach support for young people aged 12–19, helping them build confidence, life skills, cultural connection, and positive pathways through personalised support and meaningful relationships.
Preparing young people for employment through resumes, interview skills, Increase employment readiness, job retention, and financial capability among young people aged 12–17 (with scalable expansion to 18–24)
